The Grounds at Sallybrooke
When you book the Farmhouse, the Dinghy, or one of our event spaces, you and your guests will have full access to the Grounds at Sallybrooke. Spanning almost four acres, Sallybrooke offers more than adequate space for large gatherings, smaller breakout groups, romantic strolls and communing with nature.
One of the first things you’ll notice when you arrive at Sallybrooke is the towering Texas Pecan tree behind the house. Arborists estimate the tree to be almost 100 years old, which means its deep roots have held through numerous hurricanes and tropical storms. Standing over three stories tall and named after the owner’s late mother, Carolyn’s Tree both figuratively and literally keeps watch over the property. It was Carolyn and Kristi’s shared vision for the property that inspired the Sallybrooke you enjoy today. Carolyn's Tree is a beautiful spot for ceremonies and celebrations.
There’s nothing like a fire at night to get the story-telling going! The Firepit at Sallybrooke has for years hosted gatherings of family and friends, and has probably heard more than its share of tall tales! Whether you’re looking for warmth, for community, or just want to roast a marshmallow, the Firepit is the place for you.
Coming soon! The Sallybrooke Orchard was a gift to the owner in her father’s memory. The owner, a Master Gardener, elected to plant Sallybrooke Orchard in a random fashion, with paths crossing through so guests can wander and enjoy. The paths and benches planned throughout the orchard will provide inspirational areas for reflecting, meditating, contemplating.
Coming soon! The Sanctuary is an open-air space in the back of the property that’s perfect for meditation, reflection, lively conversation or small ceremonies. Surrounded by the Sallybrooke Orchard, it’s sure to become a spot where memories are made!
